# Civilian Vehicles — FWTXRP Usage Rules & Tips

> Learn how civilian vehicle access works on FWTXRP, including base Community Member vehicles, boosted tiers, and location or behaviour restrictions.

Civilian vehicles are a core part of life on the FWTXRP server — whether you're cruising the highway, hauling cargo, or staying in character during a scene. Every member starts with access to a base set of vehicles, and you can unlock progressively more powerful or exclusive options by boosting the server and earning roleplay ranks.

## Base Access for Community Members

As a Community Member you automatically have access to the standard civilian vehicle pool without any extra steps. On top of that, a small selection of specialty vehicles is available under restricted conditions — you can use them, but only in the locations and contexts listed below.

| Vehicle | Where You Can Use It |
| ----------------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| 4-Wheeler & ATV | High Rock **only** |
| Trackor | Farms **only** |
| Lawn Mower | On Grass **only** |
| News Reporter Van | Anywhere — but **never** during active scenes |

Driving a restricted vehicle outside its designated area breaks immersion for everyone involved and may result in a staff warning. Always check before you spawn something you're unsure about.

## Location & Behaviour Restrictions

Location restrictions exist to keep roleplay scenarios believable and fair. If you take an ATV onto a highway, or a Trackor into the city, you're stepping outside the rules — even though the vehicle is technically available to you. The same principle applies to the News Reporter Van: it has a specific in-character purpose, and you must not use it to interrupt, obstruct, or interfere with ongoing scenes that other players are actively participating in.

## Boosted & Roleplayer Tiers

Boosting the FWTXRP Discord server is the fastest way to expand your civilian vehicle options. A single boost immediately unlocks a range of vehicles — from off-road trucks to performance cars — that are not available to standard Community Members. Stacking a second boost opens up an even more exclusive tier, including premium sports cars and high-end SUVs. Pair your boosts with active roleplaying to earn rank-gated vehicles that reward consistent community involvement.

<Tip>
Boosting the server doesn't just support FWTXRP — it directly unlocks new civilian vehicles for your account. Even a single boost gives you access to six additional vehicles right away, with more tiers opening up as you boost further and earn roleplay ranks.

## General Rules & Tips

Follow these guidelines whenever you're behind the wheel of a civilian vehicle on the server:

* **Only drive what you have access to.** Spawning a vehicle you haven't unlocked is a rules violation, regardless of whether staff are watching.
* **Respect location restrictions.** Restricted-use vehicles (ATV, Trackor, Lawn Mower) must stay in their designated areas at all times.
* **Keep the News Reporter Van in character.** Only deploy it for genuine in-character news scenarios, and always yield to active roleplay scenes around you.
* **Boost to unlock more options.** If you find yourself wanting a specific vehicle, check the requirements page — a server boost or rank promotion might be all that stands between you and the keys.
* **Stay in character.** Civilian vehicles should be used in ways that fit your character's role and the current scene, not just as fast travel or to grief other players.
